MTC Powder Solutions (MTC PS) part of Metal Technology Co. Ltd. (MTC) broke ground for its new advanced production site in Hallstahammar, Sweden which will produce critical component using Powder Metallurgy Hot Isostatic Pressing (PM HIP). Our components, manufactured in a vast range of stainless steels and other exotic alloys, are used in critical environments in industries such as Nuclear, Medical and Oil & Gas.

The project, named SHIN (進), reached another important milestone with the beginning of construction of a modern 9 000 m² building which will increase the capacity for NNS HIP components drastically in Europe to meet the increased demand in both existing and new industries. Since the acquisition of MTC PS, made by MTC in 2020, the company has made multiple investments, including the purchase of a state-of-the-art HIP unit, which will all be installed in the new production site.
